There is absolutely no spring dressing culture and yet they do they forget that we have a monsoon season? A glorious rainy season, so totally unique to our calendar yet it seems almost forgotten by our critiques. Does this mean that in our codes the monsoon is not 'chic' enough? Or have we not developed enough assertiveness to state that as yet? Is it because we're not quite sure ourselves and prefer to ape ‘international trends’ to assert?

Let's be clear no one really needs fashion, but most desire it, its sole justification is derived from its high price that marks its affluence. It starts with the belt you wear, the monogrammed bags you carry and a palatial party thrown for $$$$.

Basically keeping up with the Joneses, a whole important lifestyle and even more because of its price tags; that seem to have become far more import than the expression or experiences it generates.
